According to Interfax-Ukraine, Kyiv and five regions are leaving the red quarantine zone during next week.
Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Health, the Chief Sanitary Doctor Viktor Liashko has announced that Kyiv and five regions will leave the red zone of “epidemiological danger,” according to news agency Interfax-Ukraine.
“According to our forecasts, during the next week Lviv, Kyiv (any day), Kyiv region, Zeporizhia, Odesa and Poltava will get out of the red level,” Liashko wrote on Facebook Friday evening.
Currently, most cases of COVID 19 are reported in Dnipropetrovsk region (1268), Kyiv (1027), Kharkiv region (964), Odesa region (841) and the Kyiv region (815). Kyiv and ODesa are currently considered for opening.
In the past 24 hours, 12,711 cases have been registered all over Ukraine. Still, more people are recovering than people who catch the virus – 13,687 recovered in the past 24 hours, 394 people died.
Over the past day, 14,339 people were vaccinated for COVID-19 in Ukraine, bringing the total number of vaccinated persons to 522,385. Only five people have had the second shot of the vaccine, completing the vaccination. Two of them got it abroad.
The next delivery of the vaccine against COVID19 produced by Chinese Sinovac Biotech in 500,000 doses is expected in early May, Health Minister Maksym Stepanov has said on the air of the Ukraine 24 TV channel on Friday, according to Interfax-Ukraine.
